President-Elect:
The President will be chairman of the Executive committee and will serve as the Chair of the BOD. The president will preside at all meetings of the PAOS. The President will represent the PAOS to other organizations. He/She may designate a representative to serve in his absence. The President will coordinate other officers and Committee Chairmen. Should the President be unable to complete his term, the Executive Committee would then elevate the president-elect to the position of president. The vice president would then be eligible to serve as past-president upon completion of his term. Term is 6 years in length - 2 years President-Elect, 2 years President, and 2 years Past-President.
Secretary:
The Secretary shall maintain the minutes of meetings, update the By-Laws periodically and provide other appropriate information services as needed. The secretary will be available to assist other officers in their administrative duties.
Regional Directors:
The regional directors represent their membership during the BOD meeting and may serve as a chairperson of one or more committees and assist the other offices in the organization as needed. He/She will also be responsible for maintaining and recruiting membership in the respective region. Attendance at the annual PAOS CME meeting and Board meeting which occurs during the annual CME meeting in person.

Applicants must be current PAOS Fellow members. Your application must include a letter of intent with a current CV and photograph. These items will be displayed as part of the election ballot.
